Some of our mates
Even though Jacob lost touch with all his school friends, he had so many. I wish I was lucky enough to have all the friends he did. Well, actually I love just having one true best friend Jacob. Anyway, off topic. Heres some of our other mates they're pretty cool too.
Daniel Bourke
Producer
I have a strong passion for short film, documentary and experimental film. I enjoy all aspects of production but enjoy the process of script to screen. My field of interest for production is Producer. The combining of creative minds to tell a story and to deliver a concept excites me. When not in the producer chair I also enjoy directing and have directed a few short form films and documentaries.
Eoghan Barltrop
Director
My name is Eoghan Baltrop, I am a filmmaker from Ireland and have a passion for directing and writing films. I also enjoy producing, camera work and editing. I love to create.
Writing The Cleaners is really fun and came naturally once I established the two main characters. I loved Directing it, the crew was great and the actors were amazing. Collaborating with everyone really brought what I wrote down to life.
James Kunovski
Director of Photography
Editor
As the cinematographer, it was most important for me to outline a dynamic relationship between character and setting through a fly on the wall technique. The camera reacts to dialogue creating a naturalistic environment.
The handheld shots propel the audience into an intimate albeit awkward situation; one that is complemented by the antics of the trio.
As the editor, I had to reflect the speed at which the pair were plunged into their new endeavor. The pacing represents the roller coaster of errors they were subdued to in one day.
Aswin Alex
Production Designer
Title Design
Being the Production Designer for The Cleaners was challenging and intriguing as props and costumes are not only used as a part of mise-en-scene but they should also tickle someone’s funny bone. Besides that, editing the title sequence for the film was exciting as we were exploring new ideas that reflect the story as well as the characters.
